A private sunset cruise in Daytona Beach
Most evenings on the water around Daytona are spent on a small boat or beside people you have never met. Envision is neither. She is a 110-foot Broward motor yacht, and for the length of your cruise the entire vessel belongs to your group: you and up to 12 guests, with a captain and crew looking after the rest.
The evening usually starts in the salon, where panoramic windows keep the water in view from every seat. As the light softens, guests drift up to the flybridge. There is a wet bar there, an eight-foot yacht tub, and open sky in every direction. By the time the color arrives, everyone has found their spot.
Planning your evening
Sunset moves through the year, from before six in the winter to after eight in early summer. Call us with your date and we will help you choose a departure that puts you on the water for golden hour, with time on either side so nobody is watching the clock.
Two hours is the place to start. Groups who want a slower evening, with dinner aboard before the light changes, often choose three or four. Envision sails Thursday through Sunday.
Who it suits
Couples marking an evening together. Friends in town for the weekend. A family that wants one night of the trip to be different from the rest. The yacht works for two people as comfortably as it does for a full group of 13, because there is always another deck to step onto.
Questions about sunset cruises
- How long is a sunset cruise?
- Charters start at two hours. Longer evenings, up to a full eight-hour cruise, are available. Call us and we will help you choose a length and a departure time for your date.
- What time should we leave the dock?
- It depends on the time of year, because sunset shifts by more than two hours between winter and summer. Tell us your date and we will suggest a departure that has you on the water as the light changes.
- Can we bring dinner and drinks?
- Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and there are refrigerators and ice machines on board. A chef-prepared meal can be arranged in advance.
- Is the cruise shared with other guests?
- No. Every charter aboard Envision is private. Your group is the only one aboard.
