What renting Envision means
When people search for a yacht rental in Daytona Beach, they usually mean one of two things: a small boat they drive themselves, or a seat on a boat shared with strangers. Envision is neither. She is a 110-foot Broward motor yacht, and when you book her she is yours alone for the time you choose. A licensed captain and crew run the yacht, so nobody in your group needs a license or any experience on the water. You bring the people and the occasion; we take care of the rest.
The yacht has three levels to spread out across. Inside, a bright salon and a dining room with a country kitchen. Behind it, a covered aft deck for the table. Up top, the open flybridge with a bar, a hot tub and lounge seating, and the bow seating forward for the view ahead. Thirteen guests can be aboard without anyone feeling crowded.
Where you will sail
Envision runs the Halifax River and the Intracoastal Waterway, the sheltered water between the mainland and the barrier island. From Daytona Beach the captain can head north past Ormond Beach or south through Port Orange toward Ponce Inlet and its lighthouse. The route depends on the length of your charter, the tide and what you want from the day: a slow sunset loop, a swim stop at anchor, or a straight run to the inlet and back. Dolphins are regular company.
Because the water is protected, the ride is calm. Guests who worry about seasickness on open-ocean trips generally find the river an easy place to be.
How long to book
Two hours is the shortest charter and the one most groups start with; it is long enough for the river, the inlet or the sunset. Four hours gives room for a meal aboard. Six and eight hours turn into a full day with time to anchor and swim. Every length is priced for the whole yacht, and the full price list is on one page. Envision sails Thursday through Sunday.
What to bring
Food and drinks are yours to bring; refrigerators and ice are aboard, and a caterer is welcome. Envision does not sell alcohol, so guests who are 21 or older bring their own. Bring sunscreen, swimwear if you plan to use the hot tub or swim, and a light layer for the breeze on the flybridge after sunset. Decorations are welcome, apart from balloons and confetti, which end up in the river. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere aboard.
Occasions people rent Envision for
Birthdays, bachelorette and bachelor weekends, anniversaries, corporate outings, family visits to Daytona, and the big event weekends: the Daytona 500, Bike Week, Biketoberfest and the Rolex 24. Each has its own page with ideas for the day:
Questions about renting the yacht
- Do we need a boating license to rent Envision?
- No. Envision is a captained charter. A licensed captain and crew run the yacht the whole time, so nobody in your group needs any boating experience.
- How many people can come aboard?
- Up to 13 guests. The price is for the whole yacht, so it is the same whether you bring two or thirteen.
- Where does the yacht go?
- The Halifax River and the Intracoastal Waterway around Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and Port Orange, down to Ponce Inlet. The captain plans the route around your occasion, the tide and the weather. Dolphins are often seen along the way.
- Where do we board?
- Envision departs from a marina in Daytona Beach. We give you the exact address and arrival time with your confirmation.
- Can we bring food and drinks?
- Yes. Bring your own, or bring a caterer. There are refrigerators and ice aboard. Envision does not sell alcohol, so guests 21 and over bring their own. A chef can be arranged in advance.
- Can we swim or use the hot tub?
- Both, when conditions allow. The flybridge hot tub is part of every charter. Swimming is at the captain's discretion, usually at anchor in calm water on longer charters.
- How far ahead should we book?
- Weekends in season and Daytona's event weekends fill first. A few weeks ahead is comfortable; call for anything sooner and we will tell you what is open.
